Tomas Andreasson

Born in Massachusetts U.S. 1965. Moved to Sweden 1970 and studied at Gothenburg University(HDK) 1987-92 in Graphic Design (MFA).

Andreasson has illustrated two children books in Stockholm, Sweden for Raben & Sjögren Book Publishers. The childrens book illustrations by Andreasson have been exhibited at Gallery Dialog in Stockholm. Attention has also been recieved for his typography in GRAPHIS Letterhead 2 (1993) and also picked for the Graphis Letterhead 2 Exhibition in Connecticut. From 1994 - 2000 Andreasson worked as a commercial illustrator at Rithuset in Stockholm.

Graphic Punch was founded in the year 2000 when Andreasson moved to New York City. Other accolades include an award with Bad Habit in Society of Illustrator Exhibition and Illustrators #44 released in February 2003 and Picture of The Month at softimage.com in February 2002. Employed by SO Animation between Nov. 2003 - April 2006. Worked as freelance from New York City until October 2006. Contracted by A. Film Copenhagen for character design and modeling for a pilot. Joining Pumpkin3D, "A Monster in Paris" Feature on Sep 17, 2007. Starded character design and 3D modeling for an A. Film feature July 1, 2008. Movet to Shenzhen, China in April, 2009.

Published The Blobber Book in December, 2010.
